Subscription Terms

• Your library saved to your account, available on any device you sign in on.
• Up to 100 AI-judged requests each calendar month (UTC), as a fair-use allowance. Without a membership, a free account gets 10 requests each calendar month, and none more until the first of the next month (UTC).
• When a member's allowance runs out, requests keep working until it resets on the first of the month, with picks ranked from your Reader DNA and catalog subjects but without the AI check.

If we ever lower the monthly allowance, we'll tell members first, and the change applies from your next billing period.

Memberships are billed monthly or yearly. The price, in US dollars, is shown before you pay. If tax applies where you live, it is shown at checkout before you pay.

Price lock: we won't raise the price of a membership while it continues. If your membership ends and you join again later, the price at that time applies.

Payment is taken in advance at the start of each billing period. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, and your payment method is charged until you cancel. By becoming a member you authorize these recurring charges.

Your next renewal date is shown on the Membership page and in Manage billing. Where the law requires a reminder before a renewal, we'll send one.

You can cancel at any time, online, from Manage billing on the Membership page in Readnext. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your membership and its benefits continue until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Payments aren't refundable, and we don't give refunds or credits for partly used periods or unused requests. This doesn't affect any right to a refund you have under the law where you live.

Two exceptions: if you're charged twice for the same membership, we refund the duplicate; and if we end your membership for a reason other than a breach of the Terms of Service, we refund the unused part of the current period.

You can switch between monthly and yearly in Manage billing. The billing portal shows the new price, when it starts and any proration before you confirm.

If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor retries it for a short time and you keep your membership meanwhile. Update your payment method in Manage billing. If the payment still can't be collected, the membership ends.

The next time you open Readnext, your saved library is copied back into your browser and, once the copy is checked, removed from our servers. If the copy can't be completed, the library stays saved and we try again on your next visit. A library that isn't collected is deleted 90 days after the membership ends. Your account keeps working as a free account, with your library in your browser and 10 AI-judged requests a month.

Payments are processed by Stripe, which hosts the checkout page and the billing portal. We don't see or store your card details. Receipts and invoices come from Stripe, and you can reach Stripe's billing portal from Manage billing. You can also ask us for a copy at any time.
